Buddy uses a very limited set of browser storage features to keep the web experience working. We use essential local storage for session continuity and reconnect flows. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics pixels.
Our frontend currently relies on local storage for session continuity and reconnect flows.
buddy_token: a session token used to keep you signed in to your Buddy dashboardbuddy_id: the identifier for your Buddy instance so the dashboard can reopen the right workspacebuddy_email: a convenience value used during reconnect and onboarding flowsYou can clear Buddy's stored browser data at any time by using your browser's site data controls or by signing out from the dashboard. Clearing local storage will log you out and remove the quick reconnect convenience on that device.
If we add cookies, analytics, or other browser storage mechanisms in the future, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy to reflect those changes before or when those features go live.
